Breakfast of Champions

Came across this guy while driving in the Grand Canyon National Park go Plein Air painting one morning! He crossed right in front of my car while I was waiting at a Stop sign by the hotel El Tovar! I couldn't get my phone out fast enough to try and capture a picture! But horns started honking and I had to move. I had to go up, around, down, and
back around, my heart racing - would I find him again?!! It turned out better than I could imagine, he had paused to eat roadside where I was not only able to pull off but take as many pictures as I needed AND throw open my Pochade box and start painting En Plein Plein Air to at least capture the setting in the glorious morning light!!!
