The English Stable

The painting was part of the Yolo County Art and Ag Project to bring art to the farm. The particular stable is located in Yolo County. According to its history the wife of a previous owner had visited England and was inspired by the stables there. She brought the idea back to Yolo County and build a similar structure. When I painted this on location I wanted to capture the morning sun on it's side.
