The Pink Barn at Best Ranch

I started this painting out on location at a ranch. This was part of the Yolo County Art and Ag Project where artists/photographers were invited to private farms/ranches to capture the Sacramento Valley landscapes unseen by most people. I was drawn to the barn's pink color, a color I don't usually associate with barns. I was able to finish the painting up in the studio.
