YEP , it's HALLET'S PEAK in ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK is a JEWEL for scenery & for the PLEIN AIR artist . HALLETS PEAK is quite a dramatic hunk of rock & everytime i see it almost fall over . this is a PLEIN AIR WATERCOLOR i did in EARLY WINTER . the willows turn red with a CADMIUM RED & a bit of ORANGE . compliments to the rather cool mountain & shadows .
