Plein Air is exciting, because doing a large 18x24 the light is constantly changing...and sometimes I am blessed to have everything in place ... the right color and the right value...and HOPEFULLY a GREAT DESIGN...which I believe this jewel was blessed with! And at the last moment, to have some breaks in the cloud cover, to sparkle the field and a few buildings...creating great drama! I've always said: "If I can't see it SOMEWHERE...I sure as heck can't paint it! My mind only captures what Nature gives to me!
