By the Light of the Moon

I have to admit, standing in the dark painting the rushing sea gave me one of those eery, pit-of-the-stomach feelings. I have total respect for the strength of the ocean. Standing along the rocky bank, barely out of the surf, I painted quickly, attacking each stroke with hardly a moment to think. It was such a sense of relief when I finished, packed up, and walked back up the beach to take a look at what I had painted.
