Regrowth

Continuing on from the previous piece's subject matter of fluid identities and shapeshifting parts; The second drawing “Regrowth” is an attempt to depict the healing process of trauma, which from my own experience with PTSD can leave one feeling fragmented and incomplete as a person. Gaps fitting parts and pieces that make up a whole person are described as generative and conquerable by the visual touches indicating movement and the choice of title which uses a more “glass half full” way of looking at the construction.
