This is an Oil Pastel of a striking young steer outside of Santa Fe, NM. Having grown up in CO and spending my life driving up and down the Rocky Mountains visiting family, my work is deeply influenced by western imagery. This specific work is part of my latest focus on both wild and domesticated western animals.
