FROM THE BELOW, BEFORE ITS GONE ( Harbor Bridge Painting Series)

The third painting of Harbor Bridge Series, located in Corpus Christi, TX, the bridge is about to demolish after the new bridge is completed a year from now.This is what I saw when I visit the bridge from below, the bridge from a distance looks not so impressive but when I have a close encounter, it's massive and wants to encapsulate my feeling through my watercolor painting and share it you. I'm so captivated with the dimming light of the warm sunset casting shadows on the bridge trusses which very challenging to capture in the watercolor medium.A new challenge to solve, New techniques to learn. Normally I don't emphasize the sky in my landscape but this time around, The sky is the second focal point to enhance the warm glow lights casting the bridge.
