1332 Santa Barbara Street

Painted plein air in two sessions from the front sidewalk of the university Club, a Spanish Colonial Revival-styled building in the center of downtown Santa Barbara, CA. It was completed in 13 hours, 7 hours on the first day, 6 hrs. on the second, and was not touched up in the studio. My focus was on creating a warm atmosphere, and an inviting composition.
