Painted plein air from the front sidewalk of the University Club, a Spanish Colonial Revival architectural building in downtown Santa Barbara. The piece was painted over 2 days, 7 hours the first day, 6 hrs. on the second. There was no touch-up in the studio. My focus was on creating a warm atmosphere and an inviting composition.
