Snowmobile Trails in Autumn

On a bright warm and sunny day in October, the countryside was exploding with color! I painted this piece entirely in plein air and mostly with a palette knife. Once I got started I just couldn't stop! This scene is also just a couple of miles from home, and plenty more material surrounding me waiting for the canvas!
